From an ancient grape called Gringet which is uniquely adapted to the severe Alpine climate of huge temperature differences between day and night. The vines are 450m high on exposed south-facing slopes where the soil is composed of glacial sediments. You really can detect this in the glass. Smelling this wine is like taking a deep breath of mountain air studded with gorgeous pine. Flavour profile is generous and opulent but hard to pin down: perhaps it's about white peaches, citrus, jasmine, flowers, mint? Find out for yourself. This is another wine which must be tried at least once in your life.
