Grape: Voignier

Region: Valvignères, Ardèche, France

Viognier harvested from old vines in Le Mazel. The grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts before being slowly pressed over several days, then moved into old barriques for two and a half years of élevage. The result is a wild expression of Viognier: an incredibly complex and layered palate, with subtle undertones of spice and finesse. Best served with food.
