Grapes harvested from young vines planted over limestone soils in Uchizy, 300m above sea level. Fermented as whole bunches for one month in cuve, before being pressed to large foudres — without pigeage or remontage — for a year of élevage. Firm tannins and structure, with notes of cacao, dark berries, earth and white pepper on the palate. Powerful and energetic expression.
