Grape: Nebbiolo

Region: Langhe, Piemonte 

The name translates to “Grandpa and the Tree”. Nebbiolo and Barbera are grown on clay and limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed before being macerated for 3 - 4 weeks. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with natural yeasts, and the wine is aged in barrels for 1–2 years. Unfined and unfiltered, with minimal sulphur at bottling. A full-bodied, silky expression with great depth and warmth.
