Grape: Pinot Noir

Region: Auvergne, France 

Pinot Noir grown on clay and limestone soils with granite and basalt. Trained in a lyre system to combat the harsh climate, the hand-harvested fruit is vinified as whole clusters with indigenous yeasts and aged in oak for 30 months. Bright ruby in colour, it shows cherry and blackberry aromas, with volcanic minerality, smooth tannins, notes of earth, smoke, red cherry, floral tones, pepper, toasted sesame, and subtle spice, finishing long and fresh.
