Grape: Pansa Blanca

Region: Catalonia, Spain 

Xarel·lo, hand-harvested from seventy-three-year-old vines grown over granitic sand and gneiss. The fruit is fermented as whole bunches with indigenous yeasts before undergoing 10 days of maceration. The juice is then pressed into stainless steel tanks and matured for 10 months on the gross lees before bottling. The result is an orange wine rich in minerality and Mediterranean aromas.
