Grapes harvested from vines grown over Tufo di Siena (sandy clay soils), sourced from a small 0.5ha plot. They spend six to ten days on the skins, followed by 14 months of ageing in old acacia and Allier oak barrels. A brimming amber hue in the glass, aromas of honey, wildflowers and peach on the nose, followed by a fresh, structured palate of savoury notes, rustic tannins and subtle balsamic hints.
