Distilled by Artemio García Barrios in Guerrero using Papalote (Cupreata) agave, which takes between 8–15 years to reach maturity. Once the quiote (reproductive stalk) began to grow, the agave was capado (cut), redirecting and concentrating sugars in the heart of the plant for three years. The agave was milled using a wooden mallet and axe, then rested in glass for 15 months.

The result is a rustic spirit that is both rich and powerful, with aromas of caramel, toffee, and fruit on the nose, followed by mineral, pepper, and earthy flavours. Only 66 bottles were produced.
