Pinot Noir grapes, harvested from 35-year-old vines planted on blue schist in Reichsfeld, were macerated as whole bunches for a week before being pressed into a combination of old barrels and sandstone amphorae to rest for nine months. Deep cherry red in the glass, with notes of berries, earth, and spices, it offers a brilliant expression of its terroir. Exquisite.
